The Japanese GP gave us an eventful opening lap and our first of two safety car periods, before the trend for 2023 continued with Verstappen dominating the race in his one car team (yep, Perez had a shocker and ended up retiring, twice)

In Fantasy GP terms we had a podium of Verstappen, Norris and Piastri. The fastest lap was taken by Verstappen too. Of course Pole Position was also Verstappen. We had 2 safety car periods and for the bonus prediction, neither Alpha Tauri scored a point, so the correct answer was a) no points.

Congratulations for Red Bull – constructor champions again, just don’t spend too much on the party now, we don’t need anymore trouble with the accountants. A big round of applause for McLaren with their double podium, a great result – the papaya cars have come a long way since the start of the season.
