Driver and Car Price Changes
Following the 3rd race of the season, the prices of some drivers and cars have been adjusted as below:
Ricciardo and Alonso are now +0.5m each – Ricciardo has proven he’s on good form with victory in China and Alonso is regularly scoring a big points haul
Hamilton, Ocon and Perez are all -0.5m each. Hamilton’s (relatively) poor form has reduced his price tag from 23m to 22.5m. Ocon and Perez have also gone down in value by 0.5m.
Verstappen’s price has gone down by 1.0m to make him now the cheaper Red Bull driver after some clumsy driving and poor results so far.
Red Bull have gone up by +0.5m due to their car showing great pace and potential to take the fight to Ferrari and Mercedes, they are still the cheapest of the top 3 though.
Force India are down 0.5m following a unexpectedly poor start to the season, whereas Williams are down 1.0m due to them scoring no points so far this season.
The price changes are derived from race performance and also the car and driver current values. Changes are kept small for now at this early stage in the season. No algorithms, it’s human judgement by our panel of Fantasy GP experts. For example, Bottas may have done well this season but his price hasn’t increased because his current value is already spot on. Everyone has opinions, but it’s our panels opinion that decides the price changes.
