Carlos Sainz really does have the worse luck. After a great qualifying, he was set for a great race starting from Pole. As the lights went out, he had an awful start and then had George Russell tagging him into turn 1 and it was race over after only a few hundred metres. After this eventful turn 1 the USA Grand Prix was looking a bit dull but it all came alive after 2 safety car periods in quick succession and other drama that gave us a proper race of the win with 3 of the biggest names in the sport going for it.

Hamilton was looking good to get his first victory of the year, but it wasn’t to be with Max Verstappen simply faster and taking his previous rival and the win. It was great to see some proper racing today though, no one had it easy. Shout out to Sebastian Vettel for some epic moves and a great drive today too.

In Fantasy GP terms, Sainz had Pole and we had the podium of Verstappen, Hamilton and Leclerc. There were 2 safety car periods and George Russell stole Fastest Lap on the final lap. For the bonus prediction, we asked about the gap between P1 and P2 which was more than 4s by the finish after being much closer for most of the 56 laps!
