The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plane. The old saying was right today, a scorcher of a race saw Red Bull reign supreme with Vertstappen taking a much needed win and Perez coming in for a 1-2 finish for the team. Helped by Ferrari having power unit issues and Sainz having a big spin early on while Leclerc retired.

As Spanish Grands Prix go, it was all quite exciting. We had drivers making mistakes, wheel to wheel battles and some shocking retirements. Hamilton was last after lap 1 and back up in the top 6 by lap 53, finishing P5, while George Russell did in fact give Mercedes a podium. If we can have 3 teams battling for wins soon that would be awesome for the season. Bottas deserves a mention for yet another stellar afternoon for Alfa Romeo, despite an unfortunate strategy he did will to be best of the rest.

In Fantasy GP terms, we had the podium of Verstappen, Perez and Russell. Perez took the fastest lap and we didn’t have a single safety car period. Leclerc of course had the Pole Position and for the bonus prediction we asked about Fernando Alonso who finished P9 and therefore option B) was correct 9th-12th.
