Sadly, the excitement of another fantastic qualifying session wasn’t replicated in Sunday’s action in Budapest, with Verstappen again strolling to victory. Norris helped McLaren build their reputation as the current “best of the rest” with an excellent drive to take second.

In Fantasy GP terms, Hamilton secured a sensational Saturday pole by the smallest of margins. Sunday’s race delivered a podium of Verstappen, Norris and Perez, with Verstappen also taking the fastest lap. We also asked where Ricciardo would finish his first race back, and the answer was B (11th to 15th), with his tidy 13th. There were no safety cars this time out.

Russell took the biggest bonus points haul with 24, starting from 18th to take 6th place. Honourable mentions for Albon (15) and Perez (12) too.
