RULE CHANGE NOTICE

Following feedback from Fantasy GP Managers a global vote was held on the eve of the Bahrain Fantasy Grand Prix and a rule change has been made, to take immediate effect for the Bahrain GP and the remainder of the 2019 season. Drivers will now keep Qualifying Bonus points even if they fail to finish the race.

We do not change rules lightly, but we also like to ensure that Fantasy GP is made for the fans of Formula 1, like us. And the passionate reaction to this 2019 rule tweak has been noted and acted upon.

Drivers get 5pts for beating their team mate in qualifying and a bonus additional 10pts if they grab Pole Position. A rule change for 2019 saw drivers who fail to finish (classified DNF) lose all points including any qualifying bonus. This rule has now been overturned following a greater than 75% vote in favour of doing so. A DNF for a driver means no race or race bonus points, but any qualifying bonus will now be retained. Results for Australia still stand, unchanged.
