The Austrian GP promised so much with Leclerc VS Verstappen on the front row and by heck, did it deliver! After a disaster of a start for Verstappen, Leclerc ran away to what looked like his first win.

Hamilton tried to fight, but a broken front wing put paid to that, leaving the current champ fifth and licking his wounds as Vettel passed him on the final lap.

In the background, Max Verstappen was quietly picking off cars and with a strategy that saw him on fresher tyres, was able to chase down the leaders. Max fought hard and stole victory from the Ferrari with just 2 laps to go.

Epic stuff, and proper racing – just what we needed after the French GP. Phew.

In Fantasy GP, points were spread across the cars with Ferrari and Red Bull taking 35 and 34 points, Mercedes and McLaren taking 25 and 23 points. Alfa suffered in the end after a brilliant qualifying as McLaren showed just how much pace they have.

Sainz picked up a HUGE 33 bonus points with his recovery drive. We had a clean race today with no safety cars, just 1 race penalty – for Kevin Magnussen who picked up a drive through for not lining up on the grid correctly. Verstappen bagged the fastest lap on his way to victory.

The PRO winner for Austria was Jason Wilkie and his team, “Jaydub” who picks up the Fantasy GP Trophy.
