It was an early race here in the UK but with 3 safety car periods and plenty of action in the first 18 laps, the Aussie GP kept us awake! Turned out to be a great race and then an absolute bonkers finish. Magnussen dropped it into the wall, bringing the safety car out and red flag. This left us with 4 laps to run and another standing start. Carnage followed with multiple cars crashing out with everyone making the most of the opportunity with fresh tyres.

Disaster followed for Alpine and Aston Martin and disaster in the F1 rules head quarters as F1 figured out what to do! After a long wait, it was decided to go back to the original restart order and run out the final lap. What a crazy race Australia produced! To add insult to a poor weekend already, Sainz was given a 5s penalty which dropped him to P12.

In Fantasy GP terms, we have Max Verstappen on Pole Position, a podium of Verstappen, Hamilton and Alonso with Perez taking the Fastest Lap. For the bonus, the correct option was A) with both McLaren’s finishing in the top 10! Well done McLaren, what a recovery!
