The Turkish GP was won by a dominant Bottas from pole with only a bold attempt from Leclerc to consider staying out, without changing his tyres, that very briefly threatened the uber-quick Mercedes car.

In a fairly quiet race, given the wet conditions, the most interesting aspect was probably Hamilton’s failure to fully limit the damage to his title fight, with a late strategy call going against him. Further down the field, a brilliant drive from Sainz from 19th through to 8th earned him 33 bonus points alongside F1’s Driver of the Day award. He didn’t seem that excited by that accolade!

For Fantasy GP predictions we had a podium of Bottas, Verstappen and Perez. The fastest lap and Pole Position were both taken by Bottas. We had zero safety car periods and for the bonus question about how many points AlphaTauri will score, the correct answer was C (5 or more points).
