The German GP was one of the most fascinating races for a long time. It may have not been the high speed thriller of Silverstone or Austria but with patchy rain, drying tracks, tyre gambles and so many safety cars, it was definitely up there with the most chaotic and unpredictable races.
UPDATE – results have been updated at 11pm BST Sunday following a post race penalty of 30s for both Alfa Romeo cars, dropping them to 12th and 13th, promoting Kubica and Hamilton into the points.
In terms of Fantasy GP, it wasn’t a podium that anyone predicted! Verstappen, Vettel and Kvyat. Max Verstappen bagged the fastest lap and Toro Rosso scored 23 race points. We had loads of Safety Car periods, so the correct prediction was “more than 3”.
Vettel claimed a record breaking 54 bonus points, followed by 33 bonus points for each of Kvyat and Stroll, while Albon bagged 30 bonus points too. A lot of points up for grabs today. Toro Rosso were the best team overall with a massive 44 points total – more than any other team today.
The PRO Winner for Germany was Javier Valiente and you can see the full rundown of points below. What an epic race!
