Fantasy GP is thrilled to announce that we have a new partnership with Scalextric for the 2023 season. The iconic brand, Scalextric brings joy to all racing fans, from kids through to grown-ups with their slot car racing sets.
Fantasy GP brings joy to many F1 fans across the planet and so we believe this is a great partnership that will benefit us all. You can now play Fantasy Grand Prix and if you win, you have your own Grand Prix at home.
The Pro winner of the season-opening Bahrain GP will receive the classic “Grand Prix” Scalextric set! Yes that’s right, win on Sunday, have your very own Grand Prix on Monday!
And then for another few races in the season, there will be more Scalextric prizes up for grabs for race winners. Remember, you need to be a Pro or Elite player to be eligible for winning prizes.
Featuring the two classic Lotus Grand Prix cars from the 80s and over 5metres of track, this is great setup and will bring hours, days, years of fun for the lucky winners. You can learn more about the set here on the Scalextric website.
It’s worth checking out Scalextric on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram – they share some great cars, sets and loads of brilliant content from other Scalextric fans across the world – some of the setups are incredible.
Quote from Adam (Fantasy GP Founder): I’m reading this announcement with a huge smile on my face. As an 80s kid, I grew up with a basic Scalextric set and spent my pocket money on track and cars. Now, in a more technological world, while iPads and whatever are great toys, you don’t get the same thrill that you get having an actual physical race track of your own, racing friends and having wheel to wheel battles – I’m so pleased to be able to work with Scalextric and share some of the awesome products they have – clue, there is some fancy tech for Scalextric now too, and you can even hook up the aforementioned iPad with some sets to have some crazy high tech race control and more. Amazing!
