A new season doesn’t always mean a new order, and F1’s opener in Bahrain proves this to be the case. Another masterclass from Verstappen sees him start the 2024 season in style, streaking to victory under the desert lights.

In Fantasy GP terms, we had a podium of Verstappen, Perez and Sainz. Almost predictably, Verstappen took pole and fastest lap to complete a clean sweep for the weekend. There were no safety cars and the answer to the bonus question was Perez, who did his part to complete a dominant one-two for Red Bull. Zhou topped the bonus points haul with a modest 17 (including 5 for beating his teammate, Bottas).

A quick word from the Admins… as some eagle-eyed players have spotted, there is no “live” feature this season, as we had to compromise to keep the Pro price so low. However, please fear not, as a simulator is in development which will allow players a DIY, in-race option. We hope to launch it for Melbourne, Australia, as a nasty team injury scuppered it for this opener.
