Results are in for Mexico

Red Bull did their best to ruin the fun for everyone in Mexico at turn 1. Firstly, Verstappen takes no prisoners for the inevitable lead (and ultimate race win). Secondly, simultaneously, Perez made Mexico cry with an ill-advised lunge, ending in disaster.
A reasonably dull race set-up came alive briefly when Magnussen’s suspension failure led to a red flag and a restart on mixed tyres, with Hamilton beating Leclerc to second, Norris ripping through the field after a horrid restart, and some midfield bashes providing the entertainment to the finish.
In Fantasy GP terms, the podium comprised Verstappen, Hamilton and Leclerc, with Leclerc also taking a surprise pole on Saturday. Hamilton stole the fastest lap on the final lap on Sunday. There were 2 safety car periods, one VSC early in the race and the full safety car (turning into a red flag) for Magnussen’s crash. For bonus points, we asked how significant the margin of victory would be, and the answer was C (more than 4 seconds). Norris easily had the biggest bonus points haul with a massive 29 – we don’t think anyone else needs a mention on that front.
