Suzuka saw a return to normality, with Max Verstappen romping to victory in Japan, with Perez as a very comfortable deputy. Elsewhere, it was a story of differing tyre strategies that provided some jeopardy, but perhaps didn’t ultimately deliver a very exciting race.

In Fantasy GP terms, we had the podium of Verstappen, Perez and Sainz, with Verstappen also taking fastest lap and, of course, Saturday’s pole. We had no safety car incidents, as the above-mentioned crash saw the decision to go straight to a red flag as opposed to a SC/VSC first. In terms of the bonus question, the answer was B (4 to 6 places), with Magnussen gaining 5 places from his grid position of 18th.
