The Qatar GP gave us another race with Hamilton further closing the gap to Verstappen who, despite last minute grid penalties, recovered to finish a fine 2nd place. The track gave us plenty of (DRS aided) over taking and a decent race to complete the triple header.

In Fantasy GP terms, we had the podium of Hamilton, Verstappen and Alonso with Verstappen taking the fastest lap. There were a total of 1 Safety Car periods (a VSC when Latifi’s Williams was parked at the edge of the track) and for the bonus question about Alpine finishing in the top 8, the correct answer was C with both Alonso and Ocon in the top 8 – a fine result and a brilliant race for the Alpine team and so wonderful to see the legendary Fernando Alonso back on the podium!

We now have 2 weeks to wait for the next round as the championship goes down to the final two races in Saudi Arabia and then Abu Dhabi for the finale a week later.
