Ocon (yes, really) Wins the Hungarian Grand Prix
Find out how you got on in the Hungarian Fantasy Grand Prix

Results are provisional – Vettel has been DSQ due to fuel issue, but Aston Martin are appealing. Fantasy GP points have been updated with Vettel DSQ and everyone moving up one place. The game will reopen following the result of the Aston Martin Appeal (due by Friday)
One of the most chaotic starts to a race in a long time saw Bottas out-brake himself, ramming into the back of a fast-starting Lando Norris who was then sent colliding into Max Verstappen whilst Bottas took Perez out of the race too. This crazy scenario brought out a Safety Car and then a Red Flag.
The break gave Red Bull chance to repair Verstappen’s car enough to make the restart and then more craziness followed as the entire grid except for Hamilton decided to pit at the end of the formation lap with the track dried out completely. Hamilton was left to line up on the grid on his own and then he pitted leaving him last.
At this point we had the unexpected leader of Esteban Ocon leading Sebastian Vettel with Latifi in 3rd. Out of the race was Bottas, Leclerc (who had Stroll smash into him at turn 1 too), Stroll, Perez, Norris out of the race, followed by Mazepin who had his front wheel damaged in an unsafe pit lan release from Alfa Romeo during the mass pitting melee.
We then witnessed the comeback of comebacks with Hamilton going from last through to an incredible 3rd place with some clever strategy (and his much quicker car) giving him the opportunity for some great battles including an epic 10 lap fight with Fernando Alonso.
In Fantasy GP terms, Hamilton of course had Pole Position, we had the podium of Ocon, Vettel and Hamilton, with Gasly taking the fastest lap on the last lap. Just 1 Safety Car and for the bonus we asked for Gasly’s finishing position and with 6th place, the correct answer was A) Top 10.
Full points below, with massive bonus points for so many drivers – top of the pile is Sainz with 30 bonus points, but Ocon takes the most with the win and the bonus giving him a massive 51points for the weekend!
