Hamilton Wins the dramatic Bahrain Grand Prix

Results are in for the Bahrain GP, find out how you did!

The main story from the Bahrain GP is that Romain Grosjean is doing ok after one of the most horrific crashes in recent memory – the Frenchman’s Haas hit the barriers at high speed, destroying the barrier, tearing his car in half and creating an inferno. It was shocking to see, even from the sofa, but we’re so thankful to see Grosjean get himself out of the car, escape the flames and sent to hospital for checkups after only minor physical injury.

After the race restarted we had a Safety Car following Lance Stroll being involved in an incident which left him upside down, again thankfully ok.

Putting these incidents aside, it was another victory for Lewis Hamilton who again, drove a flawless race to take the chequered flag. He was closely followed by Max Verstappen and Alex Albon who inherited P3 after Perez had an engine blow (more flames) with only 3 laps remaining.

Hamilton of course had Pole Position, Max Verstappen took the fastest lap and we had 2 safety car periods. For the bonus question, we asked about the gap between the first 2 cars, which was 1.2, so the answer was a) less than 5s..
