Results for China are in!

The second round of the 2025 Fantasy GP season came around quick – barely a week after the season opener and we were treated to not one, but two races! And the Sprint was made rather special after Hamilton took Ferrari to an impressive victory after putting his red car on Sprint pole. Amazing scenes – held off Verstappen, who suffered later with tyres, succumbing to Piastri who clinched P2.

Once again 2025 gave use multiple teams battling it out with margins too close to call. Brilliant stuff. And there was some action further back with some rookies impressing us (Hadjar was busy all through the Sprint!) and some struggling (Lawson making Perez look good, Doohan not doing what he needs to do).

UPDATE – Hamilton, Leclerc and Gasly all DISQUALIFIED from the Grand Prix – points have now been updated (as of midday GMT Sunday)

And then we have the Grand Prix itself which proved to be more of a tyre management race, with the 1-stop strategy proving the best option. We did have some good racing and overtakes, once again McLaren proving to be the fastest car, this time securing the team’s 50th 1-2 finish. Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari are right there though.

In Fantasy GP terms, we had the podium of Piastri, Norris and Russell with Hamilton taking Fastest Lap and of course, Piastri had Pole Position. For the bonus question, we asked about the most places improved, which was Bearman with a total of 7 places improved from start to finished and the correct prediction was c) 7 or more.

Grand Prix Points (updated)

Sprint Points

Combined Points for the whole Chinese GP weekend (updated)

Note Alpine’s total combined points is actually 17, this graphic is incorrect. 7 bonus in the GP, 10 bonus in the Sprint. Points in the game are correct as of 9pm Sunday.

The next race is Japan in two weeks time. Note that driver and car pricing will be updated when the game unlocks (midday GMT Monday 24th March) and that car and driver changes now count in your allocation for the season.

You can play with your driver/car line ups, only the changes made when the game locks for Japan will count compared to the line you had for China.
