With Max on Pole we were pretty much expecting another Verstappen domination at the Dutch Grand Prix, but we got a lot more than that! Yep, he won his home race but it wasn’t looking likely for much of the race with Mercedes’ strategy looking to give them a 1-2 finish. Safety car periods put paid to that and after some every changing strategies, Lewis was left fuming and off the podium while Russell took P2 ahead of Charles Leclerc. Max’s hold on the championship gets stronger and now over 100pts clear of his team mate and Leclerc. Ouch.

In Fantasy GP terms, we had the podium of Verstappen, Russell and Leclerc with Verstappen taking the fastest lap and of course Verstappen on pole too. We had a total of 2 safety car periods and for the bonus prediction regarding the gap between the leading 2 cars, with Max and George 4s apart the answer was a) less than 5s.
