That was an exciting race in Austria, more so than most would have expected and Ferrari seemed to well and truly have the edge over Red Bull. The red cars couldn’t maximise it though with a dramatic engine fire for Sainz and Leclerc barely made the finish with throttle issues. Max had damage limitation with 2nd, while Perez was sent off on lap with a collision leaving him with enough damage to retire from the race.

In Fantasy GP terms, we had a podium of Leclerc, Verstappen and Hamilton with Verstappen taking the fastest lap and a total of 1 safety car period. Verstappen took victory in Saturday’s sprint race to take points for “pole”. The answer to the bonus points question was C) 15th or lower with Gasly finishing in 15th place. For bonus points, both Alonso and Bottas bagged a massive 27 points each with Hamilton bringing home 15 bonus points with his race from 8th to 3rd.
