Sometimes, in F1, there are no words to describe what you just watched. Today was one of those days. It is arguable that we saw absolutely everything except rain. Safety cars, virtual safety cars galore, red flags and “Masi radio” at its very best. I think we all aged about 20 years each in Fantasy HQ! Absolute, glorious, madness.

In Fantasy GP terms, there were more than two drivers apparently, so here goes. Hamilton got the win (alongside his Saturday pole), with Verstappen second and Bottas sneaking a last-gasp third place from Ocon to join them on the podium. Safety cars were 4+(do not ask us to confirm how many there were!). The correct answer to the bonus question was A (no points) for the struggling Aston Martin team.

One race to go in Fantasy GP 2021, next weekend in Abu Dhabi! Needless to say, Verstappen and Hamilton are currently on level points, with Verstappen leading by virtue of race wins. You couldn’t script it but please do enjoy it.
