The Monaco GP gave us a tale of one, chaotic, dramatic lap and then 77 other, typical, chess-like laps. Still, there was plenty to follow following the huge Perez/Magnussen clash on the opening lap, with the front four managing their tyres effectively, whilst others down the field tested the old pace/track position battle, with the historic track coming out of top, at least with the top 10 runners.

Leclerc took a emotional win at a venue which has delivered so much heartache, but, putting aside aside history, there didn’t seem to be a doubt on today’s result. A truly supreme and dominant showing.

In Fantasy GP terms we had the podium of Leclerc, Piastri and the very lucky Sainz, with Leclerc also taking Pole Position on Saturday. Lewis Hamilton secured the fatest lap. We had no safety car periods (the lap one incident was straight to a red flag) and for the bonus question, the correct answer was C (6th or worse), with Sergio “King of the Streets” Perez having a disastrous weekend.
