The Malaysia Grand Prix saw a mega victory for birthday boy, Max Verstappen and an epic recovery drive from Sebastian Vettel to finish 4th from last. Ferrari team mate, Kimi Raikkonen had a rotten Sunday with his car failing to make it to the start. Have a read over the Fantasy GP results below to see how well your team performed.

The Podium Prediction

We had a podium of Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, and Daniel Ricciardo. If you predicted them in those positions, that would be 10 points for each and a bonus 20pts if you got all 3 correct. Well done. If you got one, two or all three, but in the wrong order you’ll get 5 points for each of them.

Qualifying Bonus and Pole Position

Qualifying, if any of the drivers in your team out qualified their team mate, they’ll get 5 points ‘qualy bonus’ – for Italy, these were: HAM, VER, RAI, HUL, VAN, OCO, WEH, SAI, MAS and GRO. And if you had Hamilton in your team then you’ll have got the 5 points and the additional 10 points bonus for having the Pole Position driver too. Note that Raikkonen out qualified Vettel and got the 5 points bonus despite not starting the race.

First to Retire

Carlos Sainz was the first to retire, following an engine issue. Note that Kimi Raikkonen was not the first to retire because he didn’t even start and you must start the race in order to be the first to retire.

Safety Cars

No safety cars in Malaysia today.

Fastest Lap

Sebastian bagged the Fastest Lap of the race during massive recovery effort.

Race Bonus Points

Bonus points can be VERY handy in Fantasy GP and a certain German in the red car got a lot! Full list of bonus points: VET +48, STR and MAG +15, PER and GRO +9, VER and MAS +6, RIC, WEH, ERI and GAS +3.
